Peekskill Conservation Advisory Council’s Marie Inserra Spring Environmental Film Series

We are excited to invite you to our virtual, spring film event! The event will begin with a free, three-day screening window (March 23rd to 25th) of the multi-award winning documentary, Deep Rising, a timely and visually astounding film. The screening will be followed by a virtual, panel discussion on March 26th from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. The discussion will cover the film’s topic, and local threats endangering our majestic Hudson River and Hudson Valley. The panel will feature local experts on the history of the struggle to preserve the Hudson River’s environmental legacy, as well as current efforts, with a focus on PCB and mining contamination. As always, we will alert you to actions you can take to make a difference in various arenas.
